Reports: Abramovich rejected another offer to sell Chelsea, as it felt short of the $3 bn sought

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has once again refused to sell the club, as he had got another offer from the USA. Todd Boehly, co-owner of Los Angeles Dodgers, has been interested in buying Premier League giants, but his offer fell short of the $3 bn valuation by Abramovich, as reported by the Wall Street Journal. It has been earlier reported that Abramovich has no intention to sell Chelsea anymore.  His issues with the UK government had fuelled speculation that he may look to sell the Premier League giants, The Telegraph understood. It is claimed a Middle East-based consortium was quoted £2.5billion for Abramovich’s but pulled out of a deal due to ‘complications relating to a proposed £1.2bn redevelopment of Stamford Bridge.’ Abramovich also rejected a bid from Britain’s richest man, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the chairman and CEO of petrochemicals giant Ineos.
