Report: Tottenham want two key signings after making early contact for four players

Tottenham are eager to sign two centre backs at the end of the season, according to Football.London. Spurs' defence struggled against Leeds United, with Ryan Mason's side facing a 3 - 1 defeat at the weekend. Now, the report claims, the club are desperate to improve the squad, bringing new players during the summer transfer window. Potential transfer targets are Bayern Munich’s Jerome Boateng and Southampton’s Jannik Vestergaard, with Sky Sports saying the club have made contact over both players. Meanwhile, Shakhtar Donetsk defender Mykola Matviyenko and Fulham's Joachim Andersen are also reported to be on the Lilywhites' radar for the summer.
