Jamie Carragher has shared his full praise for Liverpool's Nat Phillips, describing him as "a real monster", following the player's display against Wolves last night.
The Reds beat 1 - 0 the rivals, with Diogo Jota scoring the winning goal for his side. During the match, Phillips started alongside Ozan Kabak, marking the pair's third clean sheet in all competitions.
And speaking about the defender's performance after the clash, Carragher told Sky Sports:
"He played a huge role in the game and he [Phillips] is a monster in the air.
"So when you talk about what Liverpool lack when other ones are playing, they get a great deal in terms of defending set-pieces and his ability in the air.
“He’s a real monster in that position."
