Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior will not be available for Real Madrid in next weekend’s El Clasico against Barcelona after being sent-off for diving. The Brazilian scored a magnificent late free-kick for Castilla against Celta Vigo B – a goal which secured a draw – before being sent-off minutes later for a dive. Due to the structure of league competition in Spain, the ban covers both matches in the third tier and La Liga, meaning the teenager will be banned from next Sunday’s clash at El Clasico. Vinicius was not part of the 18-man Madrid squad for the weekend defeat at home to Levante.
