RB Leipzig stance on Dayot Upamecano transfer as Arsenal bid to land France defender

RB Leipzig have told Arsenal that they have no intention of cashing in on Dayot Upamecano in the coming days. The Gunners have been linked with the 20-year-old and they have been pointed towards the player’s  £92million release clause if they are desperate to sign him before Thursday’s transfer deadline. Reports in Germany claim a permanent offer for Upamecano, worth £55million has already been knocked back. Upamecano is rated highely across Europe and has shone with RBL since joining from Red Bull Salzburg in 2017.
