Ray Parlour has claimed Leicester City have every chance to win the Premier League title. Brendan Rodgers side are currently holding the second position in the Premier League standings with 26 points- 8 points less than leader Liverpool. After Rodgers arrival to the King Power Stadium in February, the Foxes have shown one of the most consistent performances in the top flight with Jamie Vardy having scored 11 goals in 12 games. Speaking to Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast on Tuesday, England legend has insisted Leicester should be aiming to win the Premier League title again for the second time in 5 years: “Leicester have got every chance,” said Parlour. “It’s amazing. I think they’re going to keep going. I think they can possibly be there or thereabouts in the title race at the end of the year. They’ve got no European football so they can rest their players and their squad is very strong. They’ve got good young players who probably aren’t going to pick up loads of injuries. If they keep everybody fit… and Jamie Vardy is the key. They haven’t really got a back-up striker, he’s the goalscorer, and if he got injured.. “They’ve got quality all over the pitch.” Once international break is over, the Foxes will be set to face Brighton on Saturday, in the frames of Premier League.
