Ray Parlour claims Tottenham star "looks on his way out" after Bayern Munich clash

Ray Parlour has claimed Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen "looks on his way out" due to poor display in Champions League 3-1 defeat to Bayern Munich on Wednesday. The 27-year-old midfielder has struggled to show his best form this season as he only managed to score two goals and assisted twice. In Wednesday's clash, the Danish international was chosen for Spurs side as Jose Mourinho decided to rest Harry Kane and three other stars of the club. Speaking on Thursday's Sports Breakfast, Parlour said that Eriksen's poor form shows he will move on in the summer: “It’s difficult for players when they’re left out of games because you can train as hard as you like and still not be match fit,” he said. “Then when you go into competitive games you’re not as sharp as you are if you’re playing on a regular basis.  Tottenham know now if he’s going to leave or not, and he looks like he’s on his way. He goes on a free transfer, so loads of people will be interested, but is he good enough for Real Madrid? This contract will be the biggest one of his life; he’s 28 [in February], he’ll sign a four-year contract until he’s 32-years-old and it will be about £300,000-a-week.  It’s nice for him, but you’ve got to go somewhere you’re wanted and you’re going to play on a regular basis.” After 3-1 loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League Tottenham qualified for the knockout stage finishing in the second place at Group B.
