Raul Jimenez on Pyunik win and Leicester match ahead of the new PL season
Wolverhampton striker Raul Jimenez has given his comments to the win against Pyunik and spoken about the upcoming Premier League match against Leicester City.
“We came here to win and I think we had a good game. We had the opportunities and we did well.” Jimenez told reporters.
“They (Pyunik) played well. The first 20 minutes were difficult for us, but after that we took the game under control and we scored. I’m happy that I’m scored and happy that we won.” Mexican international added.
Jimenez scored twice against Pyunik, while Wolves could feel confident ahead of the second match.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side will face Leicester City for their Premier League opener. Jimenez expects a tough match against Brendan Rodger’s side.
“We are going to have a tough game. It is always difficult to start the season, but we have good players and we are ready for the match” Jimenez continued, “Maybe this season we will try to be better (on season goals)”.
