Press Conference: Ryan Mason on Gareth Bale, Tottenham injuries and more

Tottenham are set to face Leeds United on Saturday as the Premier League action resumes. Last week Spurs picked up a 4-0 win over Sheffield United and will be looking to securing yet another round of essential points. Ahead of the match interim coach Ryan Mason has talked to the press and here is what he said. On injuries: "Ben Davies is the only one that has not been training, Tanguy and Lucas didn't train for the majority of last week, they trained the day before the game but this week we have had a fully fit squad."

On whether he wants the job permanently:

"That's all hypothetical and if we win or don't. I'm just thinking about the next game. I'm not silly enough to start thinking ahead to certain situations and that's all I have to say on the matter." On Gareth Bale: "I can only go on the last two weeks. I experienced playing with him as well. He's a top professional. He's happy and I'm happy and that's important. I think at the moment we're seeing Gareth close to his best." On his chats with Daniel Levy: "I've always had a good relationship with the chairman. He's given me an opportunity to lead this football club. He's a good man and he cares about this football club." On upcoming rivals Leeds United: "They have a very unique way of playing and I'm sure it's exciting for the neutral and for their supporters but we have to focus on ourselves. "Yes they will pose certain problems and certain situations that will be different to other teams but we can't worry too much about them. We're ready, we have an idea of how they are going to play and the problems they might cause but we'll also cause them problems and it's important we focus on that."
