Third-placed Leicester City will welcome second-placed Manchester City in the Premier League this weekend. Man City beat West Ham United 2-0 on Wednesday night to move four points clear of third-placed Leicester, who are nine points ahead of fourth-placed Chelsea in England's top flight. Ahead of the game, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola faced the press. Guardiola gave an injury updates on Raheem Sterling, Leroy Sane and David Silva injury updates. “All of them are ok, not 100 per cent some of them,” he said.  “Silva was smart to come off for the last minutes, Sterling is in the latter stage (of recovery). He’s getting better. Sane is good as well, but of course, he needs a little more time after six months out.” Sterling gave an interview to AS and admitted he likes Real Madrid, on an interview, Guardiola said: “The players are free to talk about what they believe. I am completely sure about the commitment of our players. They have shown it for many, many years. No one knows what will happen, but right now the commitment for the last three months, every single game, I don’t have any doubts.” City boss gave his verdict on Leicester City: "I said before the home game, how impressed I am They have an incredible organisation, good scouting, they know what they have to do. It’s nice to see teams play like this. It’s good for English football to have managers like this.” Guardiola also spoke about Manchester City’s UEFA Ban. UEFA handed down a two-year European suspension for breaking FFP regulations. City are taking their case to the CAS (the Court of Arbitration for Sport) in a bid to get the decision overturned. “We cannot change what people think. I know how hard we work,” said Guardiola.  “I am so proud of how hard we’ve worked all these years. No one helped us outside, we did it day by day, game by game. This is not finished, it’s not over, we appeal as a club and we see what happens.” Source: MEN Join us on Telegram!
