Press conference: Pep Guardiola on FA Cup, injuries, Liverpool's points total and more

Manchester City will be on action for their FA Cup semi-final match against Arsenal at Wembley. The Citizens will be hoping to celebrate their win over Mikel Arteta's side tomorrow evening, while the rivals have received massive confidence, after beating newly-crowned Premier League champions, Liverpool. Ahead of the clash City boss Pep Guardiola answered the questions of the press. Speaking about the FA Cup, the manager said:
"FA Cup is a historical and beautiful cup. We are one step closer to getting to another final and we are going to try and do a good game tomorrow - the FA Cup semi final is so important."
Guardiola confirmed that Claudio Bravo is injured and Ederson will start in the upcoming match.
"We are playing Ederson. Bravo is a little bit injured. In the last days he was not on bench - he has muscular problems and can’t play tomorrow."
The Spanish manager gave an injury update on Joao Cancelo as well, saying:
"He was injured - he had leg problems but now he is back and tomorrow he is ready to help us. We are incredibly happy with him and in the future he will help a lot."
Speaking about the FA Cup rivals, Guardiola revealed that it would not be easy to win Arsenal, while added that Mikel Arteta is the right person to manage the team.
"I expect a tough, tough game. They have something special with Mikel. They have team spirit – how they celebrate goals, how they fight for every ball. They have started to create something special. "We approach Arsenal the same as every other game. I'm sure the right person to bring them back to the position before is Mikel - there is no better person. I have a feeling he is creating something unique. If he gets support from the Club, they will be contenders."
City boss also reacted to the latest news on that fans might be able to return to stadiums in October:
"This is the most important thing, we miss the fans, playing golf, basketball with no fans but they have to be safe. Hopefully the authorities can allow people back when the security is right, that’s the most important thing."
After the Premier League clash against Arsenal, Liverpool have lost their chance to gain 100 points in total this term, failing to reach Manchester City's point record. However, Guardiola believes one day their record will be broken.
"My point of view it doesn’t cancel the league that Liverpool have done. 99 points or more it’s been incredible, we congratulate them, always I thought that the record is there to be broken and one day it will happen, but always 100 points not easy, nothing has changed."
