Press conference: Patrick Vieira on team news, injuries and Liverpool clash

Earlier today Patrick Vieira has given pre-match press conference. Speaking in the interview, the Crystal Palace head-coach referred to the Liverpool clash, overall team updates and injuries. Vieira has provided fitness update on Jeffrey Schlupp, Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise.
"Jeffrey is getting better. He is not going to be involved tomorrow. he didn't have enough training with the squad so he's going to stay behind and do a session tomorrow before getting in with the team on Monday morning."   "Long-term but Eze is improving. He is going to start working outside very soon. Him and Nathan are getting better."   "Michael's feeling much better. We know his technical ability to change the games, to create a goal and score the goals. He's a really young talented player and we need to keep working with him to improve his ability."
The Eagles' manager also spoke about tomorrow's battle with the Reds..
"Going to Anfield is going to be really challenging. There is no fear, just excitement for us to play against one of the best sides in Europe. We know it's going to be challenging and difficult but we're looking forward to the game.   "We know their strength, what their front players are capable of doing. We know them well. We just have to be prepared, go to the field with personality and try and give them problems. There is a weakness on their side we can try to exploit. To exploit that we have to be brave and to try and get something from the game. If we go there and think about defending for 90 minutes they will score goals."
About Wilfried Zaha's experience and abilities he said the following. "Wilf has a good experience in the Premier League. He has self-confidence that helps him perform against any team. He's a player who tries to win every game and every game in training. To have this character in the squad is something positive."   Source - football.london Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
