Press Conference: Brendan Rodgers on transfers, Ndidi, Chilwell and Choudhury

Leicester City are to welcome West Ham United this Wednesday. Brendan Rodgers in his pre-match press conference has talked about Wilfred Ndidi's injury and possible return, transfers, as the January transfer window is still open. He also was asked about Ben Chilwell and Hamza Choudhury's absence from an "important session" last week that prompted Rodgers to leave them out of the side at Turf Moor. When asked about Ndidi, Foxes boss replied: "There’s a great chance he could be in the squad tomorrow. He’s made a miraculous recovery. It’s been 11 days. "It’s a great testament to him and the medical team. We didn’t want to rush him, but over the last few days, he’s been fantastic. He’s had tests and come through them well.  "It’s a real colossal player for us. He covers a lot of space for our attacking players. There aren’t many better than him. It’s a huge boost for us." About Chilwell and Choudhurry's absence Rodgers said: "It’s something that happens at every club. There are misdemeanors. "The two players missed an important session. It was dealt with internally. There is no need to broadcast it. "They are young players and young players make mistakes. We manage, we speak to the two players and we move on." He also stated that Choudhury won't leave the club: "No, he won’t be leaving. We don’t want to weaken our squad." On transfer updates Leicester boss said: "There’s work behind the scenes, but nothing is imminent. "We’ll look across the squad at where we can improve the squad. It’s not going to be a month where there will be a lot of activity." Rodgers also talked about the squad's form and trusting process after two losses. "It happens with every team. You’ll go through a period where you don’t get the results you would like. We understand we will be measured differently now because of the results before. "They know to play for half a season isn’t the job. They know we’ve had a blip. We played better at the weekend. We did well to lose the game with the amount of chances we had. "I was much happier with the performance level." When asked whether it's difficult to trust the process Foxes boss said: "No, it’s very easy. You know it’s not going to be smooth all the way through the season. There’s no magic formula. You have to keep working. "The game at the weekend was an easy one to analyse."
