Premier League Matchweek 13: Fantasy Football Dream Team of the week

Manchester City extended their unbeaten start with a 4-0 win over West Ham United at London Stadium to remain two points clear at the top of the Premier League, while Tottenham convincingly ended Chelsea's unbeaten start with a 3-1 win at Wembley Stadium. Manchester United were held a goalless draw at home by Crystal Palace and Arsenal maintained their impressive form to win at Bournemouth. Meanwhile, three second-half goals earned 10-man Liverpool a 3-0 win at Watford that kept up their chase of leaders Manchester City. Premier League Table Now let us take a look who impressed and made it into Matchweek 9’s Dream team of the week by VBet Fantasy Football. Wayne Hennessey (Crystal Palace) The block from Anthony Martial by Wayne Hennessey in the game against Manchester United was important, but the save from Jesse Lingard was sensational. He made five saves for Crystal Palace to earn Crystal Palace the first Premier League clean sheet at Old Trafford. Trent Alexander-Arnold  (Liverpool) The English youngster has been in brilliant form over the last week. In the game against Watford, Trent Alexander-Arnold scored Liverpool's first direct free-kick goal in the Premier League since Philippe Coutinho's effort against Brighton last December. Erik Durm (Huddersfield Town) The left-back caused all sorts of problems marauding down the flank. Durm defended very well on the night and picked up an assist for one of Aaron Mooy’s goals. Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham) Sessegnon provided a timely reminder of his qualities in Saturday’s win over Southampton with two assists, an inch-perfect assist for Andre Schurrle to score Fulham’s second, before winning a header which allowed Aleksandr Mitrovic to fire Fulham’s winner. Ciaran Clark(Newcastle United) Ciaran Clark snatched header to ensure Newcastle United’s win at Burnley. Leroy Sane (Manchester City) Leroy Sane showcased the full talents of his wing-play. He delivered perfect assist to Sterling, before later scoring twice in a convincing win for Manchester City. Since the start of last season, no player has both scored and assisted in more Premier League games than Sane (7-with Mo Salah). Aaron Mooy (Huddersfield) Aaron Mooy was the best player on the pitch, scoring twice to secure the victory over Wolves. Mooy’s double were his first Premier League goals since December 2017. Stuart Armstrong (Southampton) Both his goals required technique and ability as he calmly slotted them in. Armstrong scored a competitive brace for the first time since December 2016 when he did it for Celtic against Patrick. Dele Alli (Tottenham) It was Dele Alli who opened the scoring, glancing home Christian Eriksen’s free-kick before later turning provider for Heung –Min Son’s third. Alli has scored more goals against Chelsea in all competitions than he has against any other side (6). Aleksandr Mitrovic  (Fulham) The Serbian striker has been on a drought of late but returned to form with two goals in Claudio Ranieri’s first game in charge. He glanced home a header for his first, before volleying home an instinctive winner. Mitrovic has scored more headed goals than any other Premier League player this season (4). Raheem Sterling (Manchester City) The England winger was again on the score sheet for Manchester City, before laying on Leroy Sane for another assist. No Premier League player has now been directly involved in more goals this season (13), whilst Sterling’s league record since the beginning of last season now stands at 25 goals and 21 assists.
