Premier League clubs plan tribute for Emiliano Sala by taking moment of silent reflection

Premier League has announced that top-flight clubs will take a momentum of silent reflection in their next round of matches as a mark of respect for Emiliano Sala. The Plane of Cradiff City striker disappeared from radar over the English Channel on Monday night and yesterday the search for the plane was called off. After scanning thousands of square miles and reviewing all "information available" the "difficult decision to end the search" was taken, Captain Barker said. Following the announcement that the active search had been called off, the Premier League released a statement which read: "The Premier League is deeply saddened to learn that the active search for Emiliano Sala and pilot David Ibbotson has ended. https://twitter.com/premierleague/status/1088504007751094273 "Our thoughts are with the two men and their loved ones. "We will continue to support our friends at Cardiff City Football Club at this incredibly sad time. "As a mark of respect there will be a moment of silent reflection for Emiliano and David at all Premier League matches next week."
