Players that can leave Olympique Lyon after Ligue 1 decision

Ligue 1 has made a decision to end the current season now, which saw PSG win the league, with Olympique Lyon being out from Champions League next season. The club are preparing a legal action against Ligue 1 decison, while having players with non-Champions League exit clauses, meaning they will be allowed to leave for a certain price if they don’t qualify for the Champions League. Take a look at the three players, who have been previously linked with a move away from Lyon, and might consider a decision to exit this summer. Moussa Dembele Getty Images The 23-year-old forward has been attracting interest from big clubs, such as Manchester United and Chelsea. This season Dembele has featured in 42 games for Lyon, having netted 22 times and provided 7 assists. His current market value is at €40m, having dropped over 20% due to the coronavirus crisis, and in these conditions he might consider a move away from France. Houssem Aouar Getty Images Aouar, alike his teammate, has been linked with a move to the Premier League, mainly to Liverpool and Chelsea. The 21-year-old has been a Lyon academy gradauate and started to play for the senior side back in 2016. This term the France U21 international has made 37 appearances for the Ligue 1 side, has scored nine goals and assisted seven times. His market price has also recorded a 20% drop, with now being at €49.50m. Having opportunities to move to the Premier League, Aouar might not just miss them. Memphis Depay Lyon's 26-year-old winger has missed most of the games this season due to a cruciate ligament rupture, and has made 18 appearances overall, with 14 goals and two assists. Depay has been attracting interest from his former club Manchester United and with his current reduced market price at €44m, the Netherlands international, alongside his team-mates, might make a decision to move to England.
