Player to make Manchester City move next week

Manchester City are reportedly close to completing the transfer of Jack Grealish. The Aston Villa skipper has long been linked with a move to the Etihad, with Pep Guardiola said to be a huge admirer of the playmaker. And according to Wayne Vevsey of Football Insider, Grealish is edging closer to a City move, and is expected to complete a transfer to Guardiola's side as soon as he returns from holiday next week. Villa are now losing the battle to persuade their academy graduate to stay put despite offering him a bumper contract, and Grealish is expected to seal a switch to the Etihad Stadium in the coming weeks. The England international is currently on holiday after Euro 2020 campaign and after his return the move is set to be finalised.
