Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reacts on winning the Golden Boot

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wins the Premier League Golden Boot after scoring 22 league goals this season and shares the award with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane. Aubameyang scored a double as Arsenal won 3-1 over Burnley and finished 5th. After the game, Aubameyang expressed his feelings on winning the Golden Boot. “It was near, but sometimes that can happen. I have to be focused on those kind of chances, but I’m happy that we won & I’m sharing the [Golden Boot] trophy with two other guys that I like," said Aubameyang on missing out on a hat-trick today. “Of course [I’m happy]. It was a tough season but I had the chance to score goals because the team played a great season. Of course, the last months were not the best in the Premier League, but the whole season, we put in a great effort," added the Arsenal forward.
