Pep Lijnders sends Liverpool squad a message ahead of League Cup clash with Leicester City

Liverpool assistant manager Pep Lijnders has spoken out on the Carabao Cup as the Reds are preparing to face Leicester City in the quarter-final on Wednesday, December 22. Jurgen Klopp's side are currently second in the Premier League table with 41 points, three points behind league leaders Manchester City. The Reds have also reached round of 16 in the Champions League and are in the FA Cup third round. Speaking ahead of the League Cup, Klopp's assistant Lijnders said: "We don't prioritise. We only prioritise the next game. It's one of our strengths and it's our mentality to have the next game as a final. That's what we're going to do, we're going to put everything into this game."
