Pep Guardiola tipped to leave Manchester City this season

Former England international Sol Campbell has claimed on talkSPORT that Pep Guardiola may not even last the upcoming Premier League season at Manchester City, which kicks off on Saturday. Guardiola took charge of City in the summer of 2016 having left Bayern Munich. Like he’s done at Bayern Munich and Barcelona before that, Guardiola has achieved huge levels of success at City. Starting his fifth season at the Etihat Stadium is actually the longest stint he’s had with a club as manager, having spent four seasons at Barca and three at Bayern. That’s why Campbell can’t see the City boss lasting much longer and thinks he could go before the 2020/21 campaign is out. But Campbell doesn’t believe Guardiola will be sacked by the club. Speaking on the ‘Don’t @ Me’ segment of The Super Premier League Preview Show, he said: “When I look at what’s been happening in his history, four years at Barcelona, three years at Bayern Munich… is he going to last? I don’t think so, I think he’s going to go.” Source- talkSPORT Join us on Telegram!
