Pep Guardiola speaks about Newcastle, Aguero, Sterling and his relationship with chairman. Press Conference

Manchester City are targeting a fifth win in six top-flight fixtures as they face Newcastle United on Saturday. Newcastle United meanwhile, are aiming to extend their unbeaten home run to six Premier League matches. Ahead of the game City boss Pep Guardiola has faced the press. The Boss has revealed that there is no injuries at the squad, beside Sergio Aguero who is set to miss a few games, after suffering an injury. Manchester City chairman stated in his latest interview, that Guardiola is committed to the club, about his relationship with the chairman, Guardiola said:  “We’ve worked together from the beginning, I’m delighted to work at this club and with this chairman. We can talk about the club and how we can do better, he’s humble.” On their rivals, Newcastle United, City boss said: “Newcastle away is always [difficult]. It’s a tough test, we know the situation we’re in, we have Burnley away and then the derby against United.” Besides scoring goals, Manchester City also need to keep clean sheets.  “We’re alright defensively, we concede few chances, we have to adjust a little detail but we concede few chances and few goals,” said Guardiola. The Catalan coach also spoke about Raheem Sterling:  “He’s getting better season by season. On the contract I can’t answer, it’s Txiki and Ferran in charge of that.” In the end, Guardiola said, that he is not thinking about Premier League title right now.  “I’m not thinking about winning the Premier League right now. First we have to get past Leicester, then Liverpool. I know we can’t lose at the moment,” concluded the boss. Source- MEN
