Pep Guardiola reveals his concerns over Manchester City as Liverpool title race continues

Pep Guardiola's side celebrated a 3-0 victory over Aston Villa yesterday and cut the point gap between them and Liverpool up to 3 points, as the Reds are preparing to play against Tottenham today. Although City earned three points from the game, however Guadiola has some concerns over the Citizen's performance as the first half against Villa ended in a goalless draw. Guardiola revealed that if Manchester City played the way they played in the first half, they would be relegated. "I am not concerned about the table. I am concerned about the way we played," said Guardiola. "If we play the level we played in the second half we will be there at the end of the season. If we play the way we did in the first half, we will be relegated. "We played good 45 minutes, not the other ones. Credit to Aston Villa. The fast half we play football but not in the way we should play. "The second half we were better, we play in the way we normally are but we have to try and play 90 minutes not just 45."
