Manchester City have been heavily linked with a move for a striker after the departure of Sergio Aguero.
Harry Kane was so close to join the Cityzens, however, the striker decided to stay at Tottenham.
And in the recent games head coach Pep Guardiola used Ferran Torres as the number nine.
The Spaniard joined City on a five-year deal from Valencia and has gone on to make 40 appearances in all competitions, scoring 15 goals with four assists.
Guardiola has Phil Foden, Raheem Sterling, Riyad Mahrez, Jack Grealish and Bernardo Silva, but he believes Torres is the one with striker potential.
He said after the game ( MEN): “In this position, he makes movements like the best strikers in behind, like Jamie Vardy. He is a good finisher, he is so young. Manchester City made an incredible job buying him.”
