Pep Guardiola heaps praise on nine Manchester United players

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has hailed nine players from Manchester United’s 2009 team that lost to his Barcelona side in the Champions League final. He told BT Sport's What I Wore: "That was outrageous, it was outstanding. "So you know Cristiano Ronaldo, [Carlos Tevez, [Dimitar] Berbatov, [Paul] Scholes, [Michael] Carrick, [Ryan] Giggs, [Rio] Ferdinand, [Nemanja] Vidic, [Edwin] Van der Sar. It was an incredible team. "We had a lot of problems their with the back four. We had three injuries in the starting XI. But we [Barcelona] were full of confidence, we'd won the league and the cup and we did it."
