Pep Guardiola has given an update on Sergio Aguero

Manchester City top scorer Sergio Aguero with a muscle injury missed Saturday’s 3-1 win over Bournemouth and remains a doubt for Watford. Pep Guardiola revealed Manchester City would have lost star striker Sergio Aguero for at least a month had he played against Bournemouth. “The doctors told me Sergio cannot play,” said Guardiola. “If he plays, maybe four or five weeks off.In that situation this month, with a lot of games, he was not safe. “It’s going to happen in the future, in the next games. People will start to be tired in a lot of games. That’s why we have a deep squad." “I don’t know. Right now, I’m not quite sure. We’ll see. Day by day we see. I speak with doctors every day, they make a report and a briefing. They say ‘ready’ or ‘not ready’ and we decide," said Guardiola when asked when the player will be back. If Aguero is not risked at Vicarage Road, Gabriel Jesus will lead City’s attack.
