Pep Guardiola fires Premier League title warning to Liverpool

Manchester City closed the gap to four points on Monday night with a 3-0 win over Wolves at the Ethiad Stadium. Pep Guardiola has fired a title warning to Liverpool, insisting his Manchester City side will keep up the pressure on the Premier League leaders. With their win against Wolves City reduced the gap at the top to four points and warned Liverpool that they will take an advantage if Liverpool slip up. "We cannot play the games against Liverpool so we cannot do anything about their games all we can do is win our games,” he said. “We can control what we can do. “We have to be there and maybe one day they will fall. If they don’t win they will be champions. We have done incredible numbers so far but they are one team who have done better. “We have to be there until the end. And the results will dictate who will win. “When you have a league campaign, you can drop points. We weren't in our excellent moments against Leicester and Crystal Palace but it is normal, and we came back in the games after by creating chances and conceding few," Guardiola claimed.
