Pep Guardiola accused of commenting 'rude' on Dinamo Zagreb

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has been accused of being rude when commenting on Dinamo Zagreb after The Citizen’s game with them, according to the Croatian media. It turned out to be a hard game for City, as they could score their first goal only after 66 minutes after the game-start, when Raheem Sterling scored for the Sky Blues. Phil Foden netted the second goal of the match, as the game ended with a 2-0 victory for the Premier League champions. When talking about the opponents defence, City's coach said: “They defended so well, even the goal from Raheem the defender was there. I didn’t expect them to play so deep - they only shot on target at set pieces - but they did what they did so well.” Guardiola seemed to comment on the player’s game positively, however, Croatian media company 24sata didn’t have the same opinion and revealed: "It's rude of the coach of the most expensive team in the world to attack a team from the Croatian league for coming to Manchester to defend. It's a blow below the belt." City will again be in action, when they face Wolves in their Premier League clash on Sunday.
