Manchester United star Paul Pogba has appeared to make light of Jonjo Shelvey’s horrific tackle on him last night in the second half of Manchester United’s 2-0 win over Newcastle.

Taking to Instagram shortly after the game, the 25-year-old posted a picture of himself raising his shorts up and showing Shelvey where he’d fouled him.

The accompanying caption read: "Great win to start 2019... caption this..."

United will next be in action on Saturday afternoon, welcoming Championship side Reading to Old Trafford for a FA Cup third round clash.
