Ozil and Sokratis out of Arsenal's Europa League squad

Mesut Ozil and Sokratis Papastathopoulos has been left out of Arsenal's Europa League squad, claims football.london reporter James Benge. Both players are nearing to the end of their contracts at the Emirates Stadium. With the arrivals of Gabriel Magalhaes, David Luiz and William Saliba over the past two seasons, Sokratis is likely to see his game time significantly reduced this season, and whether Arsenal will consider a new deal for the 32-year-old remains to be seen. Ozil is the one Arsenal star who looks almost certain to leave next season. The 31-year-old has fallen out of favour with first Unai Emery and now Mikel Arteta, barely featuring since the new Gunners boss took over.
