Ousmane Dembele to Arsenal. Barcelona wanted to sell player, but Valverde changed his mind

Barcelona youngster Ousmane Dembele was wanted by Arsenal in the summer. Spanish Sport newspaper have now delved into how he was able to stay in Catalan club. It is claimed Barcelona were mulling over whether to cut the player loose given his troubles last season. Yet French player chose to stay after Barca manager Ernesto Valverde picked him to start their Spanish Super Cup victory over Sevilla last month. That was a gesture well-received by Dembele.
