Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes "proper team" claim on Manchester United after derby loss

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has claimed Manchester United need to get back to being a "proper team" after being beaten by Manchester City at Old Trafford. Eric Bailly opened the scoring already in the 7th minute with an unfortunate owngoal. By the end of the first-half Bernardo Silva doubled City’s lead assisted by Joao Cancelo. The defeat leaves the Red Devils eight points off the top and facing up to the prospect of being as low as 10th before the international break and Solskjaer conceded his side are well off the pace of the genuine title challengers. He said:
“At the moment we are, but we’ve got to get back to what we started to look like. And we started to look like a proper team.   “Get back to what we looked like at the end of last season and the start of this one.   “We’ve been through this a few times, of course since the last game we played here [Liverpool] , it’s been a very difficult period. We’ve gone away from what we used to be.   “We need to be on the front foot more. I can’t look at myself and say this is how I want Manchester United to play.   “I’m sure when we come back, the players will be fresh and the demands on me and the players are going to be high. We’ve got to get back to what we looked like before.”
