Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted Manchester United are always trying to improve their squad, however denied a new centre-back was high on his transfer agenda this summer.
There have been rumours that the Red Devils' boss is keen to sign a partner for Harry Maguire, with the club most recently linked with Villarreal defender Pau Torres.
Solskjaer was asked if defence was a position he intended to strengthen this summer, but the Norwegian said he didn’t have any concerns about his current crop of centre-backs.
"We’re always looking to improve the team and the squad," he said.
"I think we’ve been very, very solid at the back. I think sometimes it might be exposed in behind you when you’re pressing as high as we’ve done.
"We’ve decided we’re going to be a high pressing team when we can. If you don’t take risks you won’t improve. Once in a while we’ve found some space behind us, but I’ve not been concerned about it, no."
