Ole Gunnar Solskjaer drops fresh Bruno Fernandes transfer hint

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly confirmed that Bruno Fernandes' trasnfer to Old Trafford is off the table. The Red Devils have been linked with the move for the Portuguese midfielder, however, failing to agree on trasnfer fee with Sporting Lisbon. Solskjaer has dismissed the idea of signing new players, instead focusing on the ones that play out on loan like Alexis Sanchez. He said: "We've got players here we're working hard to get back as well. I can't remember how many good ones we've brought in and good deals in January. Henrik Larsson was good, Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra. It's very hard, the clubs don't want to lose their best players and Alexis [Sanchez] will come back in the summer and prove you all wrong." Sporting Lisbon manager Silas was also unable to give update on Fernandes' possible move to Old Trafford. "I can't confirm it, I would like him to stay. Right now I don't know if he will stay or not, but I would like to count on him at least until the end of the season. Bruno Fernandes is a different player, he sees things that no one sees. Being further back and seeing these movements, the defence begins to decline. Any team that had Bruno Fernandes in Portugal would suffer if they lost him. If so we will have to look for solutions," he said. Source: Mirror
