Odion Ighalo agent confirms Manchester United transfer situation

Odion Ighalo is set to extend his stay at Manchester United for another seven months, the agent has confirmed. The Nigerian forward joined United in January on a loan deal.  His original loan deal has already expired. Shanghai Shenhua were keen to have the Nigerian striker back for the beginning of the new Chinese Super League season.  However, last week, Manchester Evening News sources claimed, that an extended loan deal until January 30 was now "looking most likely". Now the player's agent, Atta Aneke, has confirmed the forward is set to extend his loan deal at United. "We are nearing an agreement with Manchester United on an extended loan," Aneke told Nettavisen. "The agreement will mean that Ighalo will remain with them until January 2021." Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the words of the agent and announced a total agreement reached with Shanghai Shenhua.
