NY Times: Manchester City could be banned from Champions League
English soccer authorities and UEFA officials have reported the results of their investigations in Nyon, Switzerland, considering Manchester City possible ban from Champions League.
According to what has been reported by New York Times, Manchester City could be banned, as English club is accused of breaking European Football Association’s financial rules and regulations.
Soccer authorities demand a one-year-ban for Premier League champions. The final decision will be made by Yves Leterme, former prime minister of Belgium, currently leading investigatory panel.
