Nuno Espirito Santo explains why patience is needed with Tanguy Ndombele

Tanguy Ndombele returned to action on Thursday evening in Rennes, after not being involved due to uncertain Tottenham future. Ndombele wanted to leave the club this summer, however, has returned to full time action, as head coach Nuno Espirito Santo claims patience is needed in his situation. Speaking in his Chelsea pre-match press conference, Nuno said:
"It was his first game Tanguy was involved in since the beginning of the season.   "We had all the pre-season and we are already playing Premier League and European competition and it was Tanguy's first game so let's be patient."
Spurs are set to face Chelsea on Sunday in London derby and Nuno is expecting to face a very talented side.
"Very good team. Thomas [Tuchel] is doing an amazing job," he said.   "Lots of strengths, they have an amazing squad, talented players they play good football, they are organised they are intense.   "They are European champions so we must value that as we do to all of the opponents but Sunday we will compete, that's a promise."
