Nicolas Pepe deleted an Instagram post that took a light-hearted dig at Arsenal’s poor start of the season after the club's win over Norwich City on Saturday.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's goal helped Mikel Arteta's side to improve their position in the Premier League table, after being defeated in the first three matches of the season.During the game, Arsenal fans were heard singing "we are staying up" at the Emirates Stadium, while it forced Pepe to make reference to the supporters' chant on Instagram.
The 26-year-old wrote: "We are staying up! Thank you Arsenal fans for all the support." Later, the attacker deleted the post regarding the chants.
