Liverpool will face Bayern Munich in the first leg of last 16 of the Champions League at Anfield.
It will see two of the best sides in the Champions League go head-to head. Ut they must adapt to new rules when they face off in the historic clash.
Video Assistant Referee (VAR) will be used for the first time in the competition, It was approved by UEFA’s Executive Committee last December and may be used by the referee for in four specific incidents.
They are: a goal, incidents in the penalty area, red cards and mistaken identity.
Bayern Munich are used to the VAR as it has been used in the Bundesliga since the start of last season, while Liverpool are newcomers to the technology.
