New camera angle proves Llorente did use arm (PHOTO)

Fernando Llorente believes the decision to award his decisive goal for Tottenham against Manchester City was the right one, however, a new camera angle proves the ball did hit his arm. The Spaniard scored in the 73rd minute of the Tottenham’s 4-3 second leg loss to City, but they reached the Champion League semi-finals on away goals after a 4-4 aggregate draw. The VAR reviewed the goal after the goal appeared to hit the forward’s arm, eventually going in off his thigh, and it stood. Referee Cuneyt Cakir adjudged the ball to have only struck the forward’s hip. A replay has emerged showing the ball strike the arm of Llorente-an angle referee was not shown by VAR.
