Nathan Ake could hand Pep Guardiola a boost he has never had at Manchester City ahead of Manchester United derby on Sunday.
The 26-year-old hasn't played since December due to hamstring injury.
Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne have returned in recent weeks, and Guardiola confirmed Ake would resume full training on Tuesday. He has been training individually recently after a longer than expected recovery.
Should the centre-back be available to make the squad vs United, he would give Guardiola a full complement of senior players to pick from ahead of the derby on Sunday, and with it, a unique selection opportunity for the manager since he arrived in 2016.
That's because in his 274 games in charge at City, Guardiola has never had every single first-team player available to select for a fixture.
