Napoli to face transfer battle for Victor Osimhen as Premier League club join the race

Arsenal have identified Lille striker Victor Osimhen as a replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabon international's deal with Arsenal expires in 2021 and the striker has yet to agree on an extension. Therefore, according to La Repubblica, the Gunners are ready to make a bid for the Lille star. Napoli, Chelsea and even Liverpool could go head-to-head for his signature.

Lille value Osimhen £49.3 million, however, the outlet surprisingly adds that there is a chance that Arsenal are being used to pressure Napoli. But if Arsenal sale Aubameyang, they could raise funds to sign Osimhen. According to Whoscored, Osimhen has made more assists, whilst averaging more shots and dribbles per game than Aubameyang.
