Napoli have joined the race to sign Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool target Nicolo Barella from Cagliari, according to Calciomercato. 

Tottenham are said to be very interested in the Italian and they are willing to make an offer of £35million in January.

Napoli are ready to go head to head with the north Londoners for Barella’s signature.

Serie A club fear they cannot compete with Spurs’ financial package, but they are hopeful the 21-year-old could join them instead as it will offer him the chance to stay in Italy.

The Serie A club also face competition from Arsenal and Liverpool.
