Nabil Fekir transfer could happen as Liverpool ‘explore possibilities’

Liverpool are once more exploring the possibility of signing Lyon playmaker Nabil Fekir, according to reports in France. The France international set to join the Reds in a £53million deal 12 months ago and even completed medicals before the deal collapsed. However, Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp didn’t sign an alternative and now it’s claimed that they have again turned their attention to the France international. The 25-year-old is one of three players Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has promised this summer can move. Aulas confirmed last month: "We have an understanding that he can go. "Thanks to Nabil for bringing what he brought, we have an understanding to let him go." World Cup winner Fekir – who is contracted until 2020 and scored 12 goals in all competitions this season – has been given permission to leave boyhood club Lyon, where the 25-year-old made his debut in 2013.
