Harry Kane has sent a message to Tottenham stating that there's ‘going to be noise’ when he’s not scoring for.
Despite being the Premier League’s top-scorer last term, the England international only scored once.
Speaking to
Footy with Uti, Kane opened up on his performances and how he looks at the ‘bigger package’ when he is out in the middle.
“Obviously, goals are what strikers are judged on the majority of the time,” said the 28-year-old.
“But I feel like my game is so much more than that.
"I would always be confident at scoring goals, no matter how many games I go without scoring or if I score every game. I feel like if you give me a chance, then I would be ready to take it.
“Of course, I know there is going to be noise if I don’t score for a few games or things like that because people always don’t look at the bigger picture.
“But the way I have always looked at things is the bigger package. If I am not scoring but I still feel like I am playing to a high level and helping the team, then that’s all that matters. And that’s kind of my mindset.”
