Mundo Deportivo: Tottenham EYE a move for Real Betis left back

Tottenham are reportedly interested in signing Real Betis left back Emerson.
The 21-year-old player joined Betis from Atletico Mineiro in 2018, initially on loan terms.
In 2019, Barcelona and Betis paid €12.7 mln together to the Brazilian side to seal Emeron’s permanent move to La Liga. He now plays for The Green-and-whites, but Blaugrana have an option to sign him in 2021 for €6 mln.
The player himself has earlier expressed his desire to win trophies with Barcelona. This, however, does not rule out his move to North London.
Tottenham can sign the player considering Barcelona’s financial problems in recent weeks amid the coronavirus pandemic, Mundo Deportivo suggests.
The La Liga champions would not be against earning money by selling several players. And Emerson could become one of them, if Spurs offer an appropriate deal to Barcelona.
