<span style="font-weight: 400;">Mohamed Salah could miss the start of the next season in case he joins Egypt U-23 side to play in the Olympics in Tokyo. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">Egypt U-23 head coach Shawky Gharib says he’s going to include 27-year-old forward in the squad that will travel to Japan, but the Mo will surely have the final word. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">"We have to send a preliminary list of 50 players. Salah will be the first on the list as an official call-up," Gharib said (via Sky Sports).</span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">Olympics will begin on July 22 and finish on August 8, which means that Salah could not be available for Jurgen Klopp in case he joins his national team. </span>
