Mkhitaryan: "I didn't have any conflict with Jose Mourinho"

Former Manchester United star Henrikh Mkhitaryan revealed that he didn't have any conflict with former United boss Jose Mourinho. "There are always hard times. I have never complained about Mourinho. I can say that I have learned a lot from him," said Mkhitaryan during a meeting with Armenian community in Los Angeles. "There was a lot of criticism about me, but I always remained in a positive mood, I always tried to find something useful for myself, to understand what was required of me. Of course, sometimes it worked but sometimes it didn't. "But, I never complained about him, he gave me a chance to play at Manchester United, because it was him, who initiated my transfer to United, he wanted to see me as part of the club."

Henrikh Mkhitaryan spent 2 years with the Red Devils after he moved to Arsenal. "We may have worked together for some time, perhaps at some point we did not understand each other," continued the Armenian midfielder. "People gossiped about it but there was no big conflict between us. It happens when players and coaches don't understand each other. But overall, the period that I spent in United under his leadership was very useful for me. "Working with him, I realized that everything is not always good in football, there are difficult moments when you have to fight and work harder." Currently Arsenal are taking part in the International Champions Cup. The Gunners are preparing to play against Real Madrid on July 23 at FedExField, USA, Washington.
