Mikel Arteta provides injury update on Gabriel Martinelli ahead of Crystal Palace clash

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an injury update on Gabriel Martinelli ahead of the Premier League clash with Crystal Palace on Thursday. Martinelli was in line to start in the FA Cup 3rd round win over Newcastle, however, he injured his ankle during the warm-up. Speaking on the 19-year-old, Arteta said during a press conference via Arsenal.com: "We don't know how bad he is. He's getting a scan this morning. We didn't look after the game because he was in a lot of pain but yesterday he tested it a little bit better, so let's hope.
