William Saliba will reportedly have a chance to play in the pre-season and impress Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta next season.
The Frenchman joined the Gunners in a £27 million deal almost two years ago but unbelievably, he is yet to make a competitive debut for the club.
Saliba, however, struggled to impress Arteta during the first half of this season, before the Spanish coach loaned him to Nice in January.
But according to
Football London, the defender will get chances to impress Arteta during the pre-season campaign ahead of the 2021-22 season.
The Gunners boss has also decided that Konstantinos Mavropanos won’t have a future in North London, so with the Greek centre-back and David Luiz leaving the Emirates Stadium this summer, there may be room for the young French powerhouse to finally stake a claim.
