Mikel Arteta has hinted who future Arsenal captain can be

Hector Bellerin is facing an uncertain future at Arsenal, with recent reports suggesting the 25-year-old is linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain. With that in mind, Mikel Arteta will need to appoint new vice-captain for his side, and he has previously mentioned who it can be. Speaking after Gunners' 4-0 win over West Brom last month, Arteta heaped glowing praise on Kieran Tierney and touted the left-back as a future Arsenal captain. "I think he can be Arsenal captain as he has the respect and admiration of every member of the staff and every player," Gunners boss said, as per Goal. "It is just the way he is. He does it in a natural way. "He is a really shy boy as well but he represents all of us in the club; all of the values that we want to instill and are in the DNA in this club. "Since the moment I joined the club I have seen a player with enormous talent with the perfect attitude and commitment. “He has had some issues to adapt. We tried to help him. It was a challenge for him to leave his house as we all tried to help him." Source- Mirror Join us on Telegram / Follow us on Twitter
